APSERC VACANCIES:
1. Consultant (Technical)
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with masters degree in business administration or equivalent from a reputed Institution/ University.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the power sector (Distribution, Transmission, and Generation), including at least 5 years in Regulatory Affairs.
- Desirable:
- Experience in Commercial & Economic matters of Discoms/ tariff matters/ power purchase agreement tariff determination of Generation, Transmission, and Distribution.
- Knowledge of Electricity Markets.
- Knowledge of Electricity Act, 2003, and rules and regulations made thereunder.
2. Staff Consultant (Legal)
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputed Institution/ University.
- Experience: At least 3 years and above experience in regulatory reforms in the energy sector with framing, compiling, and interpreting Regulations for the Energy Sector. Additionally, experience in Judicial/ Quasi-Judicial/ legal matters, including proceedings, pleading, listing of case law, etc.
- Desirable: (1). Should be conversant with the Regulatory framework in the Power Sector of India, Roles and responsibilities of Electricity Regulatory Commission, Regulatory Concepts in Power Sector, Indian Electricity Act- 2003, Tariff Policy, National Electricity Policy ete. (2). Candidates having experience of working in Electricity Regulatory Gonmicsion chal have added advantage.
3. Staff Consultant (Technical)
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Consolidated Fee: Rs. 70,000/- per month
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a reputed Institution/University.
- Nature of Experience:
- Work experience of not less than 3 years in the field of Power Sector in Regulatory Affairs or Distribution and/or Transmission and/or Generation or Power Planning and load System flow studies OR Renewable Energy OR Electricity Markets.
- Proficient in MS Office Tools, especially Advanced Excel.
- Desirable:
- Should be conversant with the Regulatory framework in the Power Sector of India, Roles and responsibilities of Electricity Regulatory Commission, Regulatory Concepts in the Power Sector, Indian Electricity Act – 2003, Tariff Policy, National Electricity Policy, etc.
- Candidates having experience of working in Electricity Regulatory Commission shall have added advantage.
