1. Structure of the Special Tiger Protection Force:

The Honorable Governor of Arunachal Pradesh has granted approval for the formation of one company of STPF. The force will comprise personnel across various categories denoted as Group ‘A,’ ‘B,’ and ‘C.’ Each group will have different pay scales and responsibilities.

Group ‘A’ (Gazetted):

Designation: Assistant conservatior of forests.

Pay Scale: Level 10, Rs. 56100-177500

Group ‘B’ (Gazetted):

Designation: Range Forest Officer.

Pay Scale: Level 7, Rs. 44900-142400

Group ‘C’:

Designation: Special Tiger Guards.
Pay Scale: Level 3, Rs. 21700-69100

The allocation of resources and responsibilities across these groups ensures a comprehensive approach to tiger conservation, addressing various aspects of protection and management.

2. Financial Approval and Implementation:

The notification specifies that the creation of the STPF and the associated posts has received the concurrence of the finance department.
