Research assistant post notification appsc: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has invited applications for recruitment through the online mode for filling up the posts of research assistant. A candidate holding a Bachelor’s Degree along with some other requirements like math and statistics can apply for this post.
Post Details of APPSC Research Assistant :
APPSC Itanagar is recruiting a post of Research Assistant for the Department of Planning & Investment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The recruitment will be based on a written examination and a viva-voce result.

Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 1,12,400/-)
Age Limit:
18-32 years (5 years of relaxation for APST and regular employees working under the government and semi-government departments of the state of Arunachal and 15 years of relaxation for APST PWD candidates)

Eligibility/Qualification for APPSC Research Assistant :
- B.Com, BA with Economics as one of the subjects,
- B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized university.
- One who has appeared or is appearing in the final year/semester examination shall also be eligible to apply subject to production of the original certificate/mark sheet at the time of viva voce/interview.

Registration is through online mode only.

- Register yourself using your mobile number, fill in the details, pay the fee, and finally submit the application.
- Only one application is valid for a person. In the case of more than one application, the application with the higher RID will be valid.
Documents Required:
- Scanned copies of the applicant’s signature in black ink on white paper (20-60 kb jpg format)
- Latest/recent passport size photograph (40-100 kb jpg format)
- For final year/semester students, bonafide certificate. (100 kb in pdf format).
Selection Criteria of APPSC Research Assistant :
The selection process is done in two stages. The first is a written examination, and the second is an interview or viva-voce.
APPSC Research Assistant Written Examination
Eligible applicants will be required to undertake a written examination in the following subjects:-

To qualify, an applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject, as well as a minimum of 45% in the aggregate score of such qualified candidates. A number three times the advertised posts (approximately 30), in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the interview/viva-voce.
