TAGIN TRIBE GENEALOGY
There are lots of tribes in Arunachal Pradesh and all of the tribes have their own beliefs, culture, and story of origin and genealogy.
One of them is the Tagin tribe which has its own genealogy they believe that the first human on Earth was Abutani (Abotani in Nyishi). Before the creation of the earth and the universe, the beginning of time was known as “KURIUM” and “KULU“.
In the beginning, the KURIUM and KULU were very tiny. After its creation, it expanded rapidly. From KURIUM, two beings were born, Riumching and Riumdo.
Riumching became Seching (the earth), and Riumdo became Nyido (the sky).
According to Tagin’s mythology, all mankind evolved from the Seching. And the first man called SECHING CHENGTONG GE TUNGNI, popularly known as Abutani, evolved from the mother earth.
Apart from this, it is also believed that some sections of the population are descended from the NYIDO KUH (Sky).

Genealogy of NYIDO KUH
NYIDO DOKING GE KINGKA, MRA: From Nyido Doking are Kingka and Mra.
NYIDO DONING GE NINGBU, NABU: From Nyido Doning are Ningbu and Nabu. (Ningbu refers to the Apatani tribe and Nabu refers to the Nah people of Taksing).
NYIDO DOPE GE PANE, MANE: From Nyido Dope are Pane and Mane (pane and mane refers to Tibetan).
NYIDO DOLONG GE LONGBU, LONGYA: From Nyido Dolong are Longbu and Longya (It refers to Sullung or Puroik tribe).
NYIDO DOSH GE SOSI, BAI: From Nyido and Dosi are Sosi and Bai (Sosi refers to the Choker and the Rebi clan, and Bai refers to the Bai clan).
Genealogy of TANI KUH
TANI GE NITO GE TOPU, YAKMU: From Tani is Nito and from Nito are Topu and Yakmu.
NIMA GE MASH, MAME: From Nima are Mash and Mame.
NIA GE HARIN-RINDO, DOPUM, DODUM, DOLU (Nyishi): From Nia are Harin, Rindo, Dopum, Dodum and Dolu.
NIA GE HADE: From Nia is Hade.
Most of the clans in Tagin originated from Atu Hade.
Detail about their offspring
Atu NIA had two sons, HADE and HAGAR. HADE and HAGAR were married to SINE and MINE, whose maternal uncle was MENGJING YAPAM (the deity of the forest). Hagar and Mine had no offspring.
The rules and conduct in the DAATE-NYIDA (Grand marriage ceremony) and YULLO rituals are believed to be framed by SINE and MINE.
It was later passed down to their descendants, and as a result, we are still bound by certain guidelines and rules during the Nyida and Yullo rituals today.
From Atu HADE and Ayu SINE, Degar was born.
