In compliance with Govt Order No DS/SKIC/AP/111/2020 dated Itanagar February 28th 2024 the District Sports Officer Papum Pare along with District Administration Papum Pare will be conducting a Walk in Interview to recruit one (01) past Champion Athlete for Khelo India Centre (KIC) Sagalee Papum Pare District.

Eligibility Criteria for Past Champion Athletes:
- Preference will be given to individuals who have represented India at recognized international competitions under recognized Sports Federations/Associations of respective sports medal winners at Senior National Past Championships conducted by recognized National Sports Federations (NSF) or at Khelo India Games
- Medal winners at National All India University Past Championships
- Preference will also be given to individuals who have represented their State in Senior National Past
- Championships conducted by recognized NSFs or have participated in Khelo India Games
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification Graduation in any discipline
- Certification in Weightlifting Coaching from a recognized institution or sports authority
- Experience as a professional weightlifter or coach will be preferred
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit 40 years Relaxation may be considered in deserving cases
Tenure:
Initial contractual engagement 02 (two) years extendable based on performance
Remuneration:
Fixed monthly remuneration Rs 25000/ (Rs 3 lakhs per annum)

Tax Deduction at Source:
Income Tax or any other applicable tax will be deducted at source as per prevailing rules The Directorate of Sports will issue TDS/Service Tax Certificates accordingly
Other Allowances:
No TA/DA will be provided for the interview or during the assignment
Other facilities like DA accommodation residential phone transport medical reimbursement HRA and LTC will not be provided
Extension and Leave:
Performance will be continuously reviewed and extension will be considered based on periodic review/requirement
Entitled to 30 days leave per calendar year on a prorata basis Unutilized leave will lapse
Other Conditions:
This appointment is on a contract basis and does not guarantee permanent employment in Khelo India Centre (KIC)/Directorate of Sports
In case of unsatisfactory performance the extension center reserves the right to terminate the contract with a 30 day notice and the Directorate of Sports may withdraw the offer without assigning any reason Interview Details
