The 25th General Conference election of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) 2016 election was held on Monday, November 21, 2016, and the final result was announced on Thursday, November 24th. The voting was held in a 3-day phase starting from November 21st to November 23rd, and on November 23th, the counting began. On 24th Nov the day after the counting, the result of the election was announced. It was a very tough competition for the post of AAPSU president. There were a total of five candidates for the post of President in the AAPSU 2016 election, representing different districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
Candidate for President’s Post of AAPSU 2016
The following five candidates participate for the post of President for the session 2016-2019.
1. Hawa Bagang
Mr. Hawa Bagang belong to east Kameng dist. and was the official candidate from AEKDSU (All East Kameng District Students Union) .
2. Tagru Tame
Mr. Tagru Tame was the official candidate from All Kra Daadi District Students Union.
3. Tanya Agu
Mr. Tanya Agu, was the official candidate of the All Lower Subansiri District Students, Union (ALSDSU)
4. Nabam Tamar
Mr. Nabam Tamar was the official candidates from All Papum Pare District Students Union (APPDSU).
5. Tadar Kakum
Mr. Tadar Kakum was the official candidate from AKKDSU (All Kurung Kumey District Student Union).
