The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh has released an advertisement for the position of Member in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). This recruitment initiative is in accordance with Article 316 of the Constitution of India, showcasing a commitment to ensuring the efficient functioning of the public service commission.

Member, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)

Vacancies:

1 (One)

Pay and Allowances:

Pay and allowances of the post of the Chairman/Member of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission shall be governed by clause 6 of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Regulations) 1988 as amended from time to time.

Tenure:

6 (six) years from the date on which he/she enters upon the office or until he/she attains the age of 62 years, which ever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria:

Persons with outstanding career, outstanding academic excellence and capcity to judge independently sitability of candidates for a civil post/service under the government of Arunachal Pradesh.

  1. He/She shall have held office/served continuously for at least 10(ten) years either under the Government of India or under the Government of a State.
  2. He / She shall not be a Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislature of any State or Union Territory, or hold any other office of profit or connected with any political party.
  3. Age Below 62 Years.

HOW TO APPLY:

Interested candidates:- shall submit their application in prescribed format as enclosed at Annexure-A along with testimonial at e-mail id secy-part-arn@nic.in. The submission of application in electronic format is mandatory and the time of receipt of e-mail would decide as to whether an application is submitted in time or late.

Government Servants:- Persons who are presently working under a State or Central Government shall submit their application through proper channel along with copies of ACRs/APARs duly attested by the Head of Department/Head of Office for last five years along with Departmental/Vigilance Clearance. In case of retired Government servants, they shall be free from all types of criminal and other charges.

SC/ST candidates:- shall enclose caste/tribe certificate(s) issued by the Competent Authority along with the application.

Integrity /Character & Antecedents:- The integrity of the candidates shall be beyond doubt. They shall be free from all types of criminal and other charges. However, the appointment of the selected candidate shall be subject to verification of Character and Antecedents by the police.

The applicants shall also submit the Declaration Of Properties in the prescribed form placed as Annexure-B along with the application.
